Bike Fest Gold Coast
Please join us for Bike Fest on Sunday 23 June at Pratten Park in Broadbeach.
The City of Gold Coast’s inaugural Bike Fest will be held on Sunday 23 June at Pratten Park, opposite Broadbeach State School from 10am – 3pm and everyone is invited.
This free community event is part of Council’s Active Travel program, which encourages residents to walk, cycle, carpool or use public transport. The event will be a celebration of bikes and the Gold Coast lifestyle.
Bike Fest was meant to be held in March 2013, unfortunately due to wet weather the event was postponed.
When: Sunday 23 June 2013, 10am – 3pm
Where: Pratten Park Broadbeach (Across from Broadbeach State Primary School)
Bling Your Bike Competition at Bike Fest
The “Bling Your Bike Competition” is designed for all bike riders out there with a creative mind. Entrants are encouraged to decorate their bikes at home and ride to Bike Fest. Bikes will be judged on originality, innovation and creativity. Some examples might include, streamers, flowers, bright colours, recycled materials etc.
Judged by special guests. Great prizes will be given to the most creative and innovative bikes. Winners will be announced at Bike Fest, Sunday 23 June 2013, Pratten Park Broadbeach.

Bike Fest is for all ages and interests helping to build a healthier, more liveable Gold Coast. We encourage you to leave the car at home and actively travel to the event at Pratten Park on Sunday 23 June 2013.
