    Sara Carrigan – Olympic Champion, Australian Champion, Commonwealth Games Champion, World Cup Champion OAM – has lived her dreams and then some. Now she’s taking the opportunity to share her skills, her passion and her obvious love of cycling, with a brand new cycling school: aimed to provide basic cycling training and skill development within a fun and safe environment for total beginners and the more experienced.

    Sara Carrigan Cycling School Overview

    The ‘Sara Carrigan Cycling School’ has been founded by the 2004 Athens Olympic Gold Medallist, Sara Carrigan. With 15years cycling experience and Level One UCI/CA Coach Accreditation, Sara began the coaching clinic with the aim of helping those to enjoy riding their bike and to experience the wonders that come with it. “Cycling has been my passion since I was 14 enjoying the wondrous feeling of being free with the wind blowing on my face and through my hair!     Getting Started Package

    This introductory program is for riders of all ages who are new to cycling. The primary goal is to enjoy the wonders of riding a bike through learning the necessary skills to safely, confidently and comfortably ride your pushie. The program consists of 2x 4hr Skills Sessions (Saturday mornings), followed by 5 weeks of Thursday morning road training sessions developing fitness, endurance, road skills & bunch skills combined with a structured wind trainer/ergo training program.

  • Intermediate Package

    This 4week intermediate program is for riders of all ages who have reasonable cycling experience and wish to further develop bike skills, confidence, riding technique and fitness. This course consists of at least 16 hours of training divided into 8 x 2-2½ hour sessions on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 5am to 7am.

  • GO for GOLD Cycle Bunch

    The GO for Gold Cycle Bunch aims to provide a safe, fun and social atmosphere in which to enjoy bike riding while also offering some friendly challenges, health seminars and prizes. There is both a beginner bunch and more advanced bunch.
